Minister under fire for ‘shielding’ NSS boss

A group of MPs this week vented against the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Limpho Tau for allegedly failing to bring National Security Services (NSS) boss, Pheello Ralenkoane, to their committee. The Prime Minister’s Ministries and Departments cluster demanded to know why Tau allowed Ralenkoane to bunk their meeting. The committee wanted the spy boss to explain why he allegedly misled Prime Minister Sam Matekane to issue a warrant to confiscate Machesetsa Mofomobe’s phone in May.
