REBELS in the Basotho Action Party (BAP) have told party leader Professor Nqosa Mahao that they will not back down in their use of social media, particularly WhatsApp, to vent out their frustrations. Mahao three weeks ago told the rebels to close down their WhatsApp groups or face expulsion from the party. In a defiant message, the rebels said Professor Mahao does not have the authority to order them to close their WhatsApp groups “as a man who has been chosen by us to be our leader and an MP, not the other way round”.
