AN alleged paedophile stepfather was thrown behind bars in Leribe last week for allegedly sexually abusing his 15-year-old stepdaughter in the presence of his wife. The wife was also arrested. The man’s 70-year-old mother managed to pay a fine of M1 000 and was released pending finalisation of the case. She was accused of failing to protect the minor and reporting the rape.
