The big salaries that NACOSEC paid

THOSE hired by the National COVID-19 secretariat (NACOSEC) found themselves swimming in a pool of money as they got hefty salaries even when Lesotho was struggling to buy medicines, vaccines and personal protective clothing to fight the pandemic. The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) this week heard how NACOSEC handpicked its employees and paid them eye-watering salaries while it claimed to be too broke to buy small things like masks.
