FORMER Prime Ministers Pakalitha Mosisili and Thomas Thabane say they were appalled by an “alarming speech” by Prime Minister Sam Matekane last week. They said Matekane’s speech was a threat against democracy. Mosisili and Thabane also condemned the security institutions’ decision to meddle in Lesotho’s politics in defence of Matekane who is facing a vote of no-confidence.
