THE Public Accounts Committee (PAC) this week cranked up pressure on Police Minister Lebona Lephema to speed up investigations into the suspicious death of Khahliso Soro four years ago. Lephema told the PAC chairperson, ’Machabana Lemphane-Letsie, that he will brief the committee soon on how far the police have gone with their investigations. Soro, who was the Ministry of Home Affairs’ National Ceremonies’ Coordinator, was found dead at his home in Ha-Seoli in September 2018.
