UNTIL just about a decade ago Koalabata was just like other villages on the fringes of a growing town. It appeared untouched by the developments happening in Maseru City, some five kilometres away. When other peri-urban villages were getting street lights, Koalabata’s streets remained dark. As other villages got paved roads Koalabata was stuck with its gravelled roads.
